The Schoolmarm Ohio (Lisa McAfee) reviews Kristin’s American Art History curriculum, semester 2. Enjoy!
We’re doing it. ARTK12 is spreading its wings. We’re leaving the nest. We’re blasting off. We’re going to a homeschool convention. Great Scott, Batman!
The ARTK12 Gear Store is open. ARTK12 is selling “I Can DRAW” t-shirts, hats and buttons based on the ARTK12 Geography Draw series. These make great prizes for students who have completed or mastered drawing the maps.
Miss Lucy, as her students call her, has been teaching Art History to homeschooled students for the last few years. She uses ARTK12’s curriculum to teach all her classes. Find out why.
Leader boards are coming to the ARTK12 Matching Games. Don’t know what a leaderboard is? It shows the top scores for games played. Ready for some friendly competition? Ready to learn about great art? Fasten your seat belts.
Kristin has started work on the 8th book of her draw map series. This one will be titled: Draw the World: An Outline of Continents and Oceans and will focus on drawing the entire world.
The new ARTK12 free download is a scavenger hunt that uses Along the River During the Qingming Festival by Zhang Zeduan. This painting is big. 10 inches by 5.74 yards. For the game it needs 16 sheets of paper.
ARTK12 sells art history bingo cards. They’re expensive ($39.95). We know this. We have been unable to find a printing solution that keeps the cards reasonably priced and allows us to make an exorbitant profit….just kidding….a reasonable profit so we’re planning to sell them in book form on Amazon.com.
