Grammar. How I hated that word as a kid. I knew how to read, write and even speak, but sit me down and tell me to diagram a sentence or find all the prepositions and pronouns and I was at times lost. Sure, I could do it under duress and get some of the answers, but I hated it. Boring, boring, boring.
The times they are changing. There are dozens and dozens of fun books out there to help your children get a grasp on grammar. They’ll want to read these or have you read to them.
Wow, that was short. What else can I say? These books are good! Have at it! No time to waste. No reason to labor the obvious. One should be succinct and to the point! Don’t drone on and on when it is not necessary! Shorter is better. Brevity is the soul of wit! Leave your audience wanting more not hoping you’ll just stop. Stop. Stop. I’m done.
The books below, among many others, can be found in ARTK12’s Serious Fun: Homeschooling with Real Books.
