We started Draw the Human Body: Organs back in early December after hearing from several of our customers that they’d like a book where their students would draw the major organs of the body along with some relevant information on each organ covered. So, here’s our table of contents for the new book. All caps indicates a special page or section of the book:

We’re covering 15 organs. We do the kidneys and bladder together and also male and female reproductive organs in one section. Each organ section begins with a brief one page introduction to the organ or organs. We give general information in the introduction and sometimes add more information on the drawing pages. All the organs have labels of the major parts. Like our map books, students draw the organ with easy step-by-step instructions, with each new step in red.

All instructions are on full page making it easy for students to see exactly what they need to do for each step. We’ll be offering a PDF download of templates to get your students started. Kristin has learned that for students to have a successful drawing, getting started correctly is the key.

Throughout the book there is lots of humor: cartoons, puns, jokes, poems, a mini-comic book and more. You won’t want to miss it. Okay you may want to miss, but we think your students will enjoy it.
